Looking for an energetic, fun and constructive lacrosse curriculum? Rather not travel across the country to get top-notch instruction? Do you want to learn from the best coaches and players in the US? Stay local and let Texas Heat Lacrosse bring the Tar Heels to you! We are proud to present Brian Holman and Chris Feifs, lacrosse coaches for the nationally ranked UNC Lacrosse team, as co-directors of our December instructional camp.  Coach Holman (defensive and goalie coach) and Chris Feifs (offensive coach and recruiter) will be assisted by Texas Heat Lacrosse staff as well as current UNC lacrosse players.

Coach Brian Holman

Coach Holman has been involved in lacrosse at all levels for the past 30 years, as player, coach and parent.  He is currently works with the defense and goalies as an Assistant Coach at UNC. Holman attended the Johns Hopkins University and was a member of the Class of 1983. As a player at Hopkins he was a three-time All-America selection as a goalkeeper and he played in four NCAA Championship games in 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983. He was a volunteer assistant goalie coach and defensive coordinator at Johns Hopkins for seven years, assistant coach at the Boys’ Latin School of Maryland for four years, head coach for five years in the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association and served three years as current head coach of the Breaker’s Club Lacrosse Team in Baltimore, Md.

Coach Chris Feifs

Coach Feifs is currently in his third year at UNC and will be coaching the Tar Heel Defense this year.  He was a captain and star midfielder at Maryland University and was drafted in the 2007 Major League Lacrosse Supplemental Draft when he was taken by the Boston Cannons in the draft’s third round. He played for the Cannons under the leadership of Coach Billy Daye, a 1993 UNC graduate.

Camp Information:

• Day Clinic for boys grades 3 – 12.
• This camp is dedicated to teaching foundational skills and advanced techniques involving:

• Please bring all of your lacrosse equipment with you, including mouth pieces and water bottles.

A $25  fee will be deducted if a registrant decides to cancel an order, if the registrant decides to cancel three weeks prior to camp a $50 fee will be applied.
